Go Green! Greenpoint Festival 2014

This year's Go Green! Greenpoint Festival will be Saturday June 7, from 12-5, in McCarren Park (rain or shine). This year we are so pleased that Two Fair Ladies, a leading curator of handmade markets, will be organizing the events eco-friendly vendors. If you are interested in becoming a Go Green! vendor, please submit an application at Beginning in 2008, Go Green! Greenpoint! was the first Earth Day Festival to take place in North Brooklyn. Since then this event has become an annual staple of community life. Each year Go Green! Greenpoint! has grown in participating oranizations/businesses and attendance

2014 Egg Hunt Wrap-up

The 3rd annual McGolrick Egg Hunt was a huge success! The day involved almost 1,000 eggs, the Easter Bunny, musical performances, arts & crafts, tumbling activities, and face painting for the kids. In addition, this event raised $1000 for MS 126 science students to attend NASA space camp in Istanbul, Turkey this summer! 3rd Annual McGolrick Egg Hunt

April 19, 2014, 12 Noon-2 PM - Town Square is so excited to be holding its 3rd Annual McGolrick Park Egg Hunt! This event has become a much-loved community gathering, and a great way to celebrate spring in Greenpoint's hidden gem, McGolrick Park. This year you can look forward to many more eggs to find, a separate area for babies and toddlers, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, and lots of fun arts & crafts and face painting provided by MS 126 and Trendy Art Face Painting. Sage Music and Williamsburg Music will perform classical, jazz and popular music. Gym Park gymnasts will tumble!
