12-3 PM || TBD

Since 2008, Town Square has been promoting environmental consciousness at the local level through our Greencycle Swaps. We firmly believe that one man’s trash is another man’s treasure!
Join us to to recycle, reuse and reduce!  Drop off your cleaned gently-used & working CLOTHES, SHOES & BOOKS, browse the selection & fill a bag to take.  No need to bring things to take things.  Out of consideration for others, we may limit what you take to the greater of 1 bag or the total number of bags of items that you bring.  We also do *not* allow taking donated items to resell.  Why? Because many donors make this request.  And all remaining items are donated to local homeless shelters, churches and local police precincts for our neighbors truly in need.
We've partnerned with St. Mary's for women's and children's clothes and shoes, NBK Mutual Aid to deliver men's clothing and shoes to BRC homeless shelter in Greenpoint, and NYPD 94th Precinct for books for the precinct's community library.  Please help our neighbors while benefiting our environment.
Suggested donation: $10 a family. Town Square is a qualified 501(c)(3) not-for-profit institution. Your donation will be tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
We couldn't do this without you and our partners:  Assemblyman Joseph Lentol, CM Stephen Levin, CM Antonio Reynoso, Brooklyn Public Library (Leonard & Greenpoint branches), Brooklyn Scouts Troop 26, Home Life Services, NBK Mutual Aid, NYC DYCD, NYPD 94th Precinct & St. Mary's.  A huge THANK YOU!
