COVID 19 Resources

With schools closed and everyone being asked to stay inside, we thought it would be helpful to list some resources to navigate these uncertain times.  This is not meant to be a comprehensive list, simpy a good faith effort.  So please email us to share any resources that aren't listed here.

~ NYC Status as of 3/16/2020 ~

•    NYC public schools are closed until April 19th. They are currently scheduled to reopen 20th. 
•    NYC private schools are closed.
•    NYC senior centers are closed. 
•    The Brooklyn Public Library is closed through March 31st.
•    Many NYC churches are closed. 
•    The Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, queens Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo and NY Aquarium are closed. 
•    NYC theaters, concert venues, movie theaters, clubs and bars with no food are closed effective
•    NYC restaurants, bars and cafes cannot provide dine-in, they can only provide take out and delivery.

•    The CDC also recommends no events of more than 50 people nationwide for the next 8 weeks.

~ MEALS ~

•    All families can visit their nearest NYC DOE school to pick up grab-and-go breakfast starting at 7:30 AM and lunch starting at 11:30 AM. visiting https://nycenet.edu/schoolsearch or calling 311.  Meals will be available until April 8th, the day before Spring Break was scheduled to start.

~ INTERNET ~

~ IN HOME ACADEMICS ~
